Tributes at cathedral to a property tycoon ; Memorial service for 'real caring dad'

THE two sons of Essex business tycoon Alan Cherry paid tribute totheir loving father at a packed memorial service.

Richard and Graham, who have taken over at the helm ofCountryside Properties in Brentwood which their father founded, ledtributes to the self-made multimillionaire during the service atChelmsford Cathedral on Thursday.

The 76-year-old property magnate from Ingatestone died in Januaryfollowing a six-month battle with cancer.
